Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Ascencia Malta, was created by business leaders to renew management education around three main themes:

      Entry Requirements

      The applicant must hold a Baccalaureate or RNCP Level IV diploma.

      Applicants who do not hold an aforementioned diploma or qualification but who have more than 2 years' experience in a managerial, commercial or marketing role may be admitted (at the discretion of the Training Committee).

  • TEACHING, LEARNING, AND ASSESSMENT

    General Pedagogical Methods

    All the hours declared are in pedagogical face-to-face teaching. Learning tools used include: television, DVD player, video projectors, laptops running Windows 10 Pro (equipped with Office Pro Plus Pack, CIEL, EBP, Gantt Project, Sphinx, Adobe CS4 and CS6), printer, WIFI network for secure and individual connection for each student, online library (Scholarvox), and French e-learning platform.

    In light of the recent COVID-19 changes, the school has a main focus to ensure the continuity of training and support missions. This includes preparation and training of permanent teams, preparation and coaching of trainers, preparation and support of students on remote tools, and student follow-up.

    General Assessment Methods

    Final examinations are held at the end of the 1st semester and 2nd semester. The ratios are distributed as follows: Continuous Assessment 33% and Final Exam 67%. A mark for participation and attendance may increase the continuous assessment average.

    Students must complete an internship each year. From the 2nd year, they must present their internship orally before an assessment panel.

    Students who are more than 10% absent will not be able to attend the end-of-year examinations.

    Grading and Progression

    For each module, students are required to achieve the minimum pass mark. Students who fail the module have an opportunity to resit. Should the student fail a second time, they will need to repeat the complete module.

  • EXIT AWARDS

    No exit awards are specified for this programme. Students must complete all 180 ECTS to be awarded the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at MQF/EQF Level 6.
