About the Award

The “Scientific Reading and Writing for Computer Science” module is designed to equip students with the essential skills required to critically read, analyse, and effectively communicate scientific literature in the field of computer science. Through a combination of theoretical concepts, practical exercises, and hands-on projects, students will develop proficiency in understanding research papers, synthesizing complex information, and articulating their ideas in written form.

  • ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
    • Proficiency in English language skills- IELTS level/grade 6, B2 level of English or the student’s country equivalent, as the course will involve reading technical materials and communicating concepts effectively.
    • Post secondary Education (Pure Maths and/Or Computing A level) (MATSEC) or equivalent OR
    • A degree at level 6 (MQF/EQF) or equivalent in another subject together with a Post secondary Education (Pure Maths and/Or Computing A level) (MATSEC) OR
    • 10 years of work experience in an IT related job paired with a strong interest in the field, together with a minimum level 4 qualification
