Award in International Organisational Management and Development
This module is designed to provide students with a mastery of the theories and practices of international organisational management and development. International organisational management and development involves creating a plan, monitoring its progress, and making changes based on results and feedback so the company can improve its performance. In this module, students will explore international organisational management and development as a strategy that companies worldwide use to structure their leadership, control their resources and achieve organisational goals. Students will understand the cultural, political, economic and legal factors that influence international business, and examining the role of culture in shaping organisational behaviour and developing effective strategies for managing diverse teams. Students will examine the key elements of effective global business strategy including market entry, globalisation and growth. By drawing from examples of organisations all over the world, and understanding how this strategy works, our students will be prepared to help companies operate efficiently and achieve their visions.
