The Computer System Architecture and Operating Systems module provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles, components, and functionalities of computer systems and operating systems. In this module, students will explore topics related to computer architecture, including CPU design, memory hierarchy, I/O systems, and storage devices.

  • ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
    • Proficiency in English language skills- IELTS level/grade 6, B2 level of English or the student’s country equivalent, as the course will involve reading technical materials and communicating concepts effectively.
    • Post secondary Education (Pure Maths and/Or Computing A level) (MATSEC) or equivalent OR
    • A degree at level 6 (MQF/EQF) or equivalent in another subject together with a Post secondary Education (Pure Maths and/Or Computing A level) (MATSEC) OR
    • 10 years of work experience in an IT related job paired with a strong interest in the field, together with a minimum level 4 qualification
