Award in Advanced Quantitative Techniques for Business Research 1
The first part of a 2-part module, this course focuses on advanced econometric and statistical methods for analyzing primary and secondary data to test hypotheses and communicate findings effectively. It covers the formulation of scientific hypotheses based on theories and testing them using empirical econometric techniques. Students will learn Descriptive Statistics, Inferential Statistics, Time Series Analysis, Multivariate Analysis, and Bayesian Statistics. The course emphasizes selecting appropriate techniques, interpreting results, and communicating findings to aid business decision-making. The aim of part 1 is to prepare students with a strong foundation of quantitative techniques in business research which will then be developed further in part 2 -- Advanced Quantitative Techniques for Business Research
